This is a direct replacement for the 3156 single-filament wedge bulb in the cornering light of a 1992-1993 F-150. It is built on 18 LED 3-Chip SMD technology that puts out 195-220 lumens with sharp, saturated color, and it lights faster than a stock halogen bulb. ORACLE rates the LEDs at 100,000 hours of continuous use while drawing only a fraction of the power of the factory bulb.
It is sold individually and comes in Cool White or Amber. A load equalizer is not needed in brake, reverse or running light circuits; it is only needed if you use the bulb as a turn signal, to prevent hyper-flash. Because the 3156 is a wedge-base bulb, it only suits sockets that originally took a 3156.
Fitment
Fitment-verified for the cornering position on 1992-1993 Ford F-150 trucks (part number 5001-001 for Cool White, 5001-005 for Amber). Always verify the factory bulb size and vehicle configuration before ordering.
