This is an LED replacement for the 3156 bulb in the rear turn signal position of a 2000-2002 Toyota Tundra. It carries 18 three-chip SMD LEDs and is rated at 270-306 lumens, which ORACLE says is brighter than the stock halogen and quicker to reach full output. Power draw is a fraction of the factory bulb, and the LEDs are rated for 100,000 hours of continuous use.
ORACLE sells it as a single bulb in Cool White, Amber, so you pick the color that suits the lens and socket you are working with. The base matches the factory 3156 wedge, so it drops into the existing socket.
Fitment
Fitment-verified by ORACLE for the rear turn signal position on the 2000-2002 Toyota Tundra. It is not listed for other positions or years, so confirm year, trim and factory equipment before ordering.
Install notes
Because this is a turn signal position, plan on a load equalizer. ORACLE says one is needed whenever this bulb is used as a turn signal, to stop the rapid hyper-flash that LED bulbs cause on a circuit built for a halogen. A load equalizer is not listed as part of this kit.
What's included
One ORACLE 3156 18 LED 3-Chip SMD bulb in the color you select.
