This is 22 gauge, 4-conductor installation wire from ORACLE, made for LED lighting projects. Four conductors are what multi-color LEDs need, and ORACLE lists 22AWG as ideal for ColorSHIFT projects.

Why it works

High-purity oxygen-free copper (OFC) conductors, chosen to keep connections from corroding or degrading over the years.
Four conductors for multi-color LEDs.
Capacity is plenty for the low current draw of LEDs.
328 foot spool.

As ORACLE explains, in the AWG system a higher number means a thinner wire.

Fitment

Universal. For single-color LEDs, ORACLE points to its 20AWG 2-conductor wire instead. Part number 2006-504.
