The Morimoto XBG LED daytime running light insert kit (XBG25) is built for 2020-2022 Super Duty trucks that wear the factory Platinum grille. It adds new upper and lower trim pieces, LED optics and a plug-and-play harness, and the DRL bars use automotive-grade optics with Osram LEDs. The bars adjust their intensity to cut glare in low light, and you pick white or amber.
Wiring is plug and play on trucks with halogen or factory LED headlamps, and Morimoto guarantees an optical and color-temperature match to its XB LED headlights (LF508 or LF556 series) in white or amber. The vendor says no modifications are required.
Fitment
Listed fitment is the 2020-2022 Ford Super Duty Platinum. You must have the OEM Platinum grille, because the kit will not work with other grille styles. The grille itself is not included, so you reuse your stock Platinum grille. Morimoto designed and tested these on US-spec vehicles, and fitment elsewhere is not guaranteed.
