The Morimoto XB LED tail light (LF724) is a plug-in replacement for the stock tail lights on the 2009-2018 Dodge Ram 2500HD and 3500HD. The design takes cues from modern OEM LED lamps, with 3D optics for the brake and turn functions. The outer lens here is smoked; Morimoto also offers the other lens color as a separate listing. The reverse light is a built-in white LED, and Morimoto sells an optional reverse light bar for more output when backing up.
The housings are ABS plastic with a UV-resistant polycarbonate lens and SSC LEDs. Morimoto says they meet DOT and SAE requirements, were tested by third-party labs, and carry a five-year warranty. Morimoto also notes the housings were designed and tested on US-spec vehicles, so fit on other markets is not guaranteed.
