The Morimoto XB LED tail light (LF728) is a plug-in replacement for the stock tail lights on the 2015-2019 GMC Sierra 3500HD Dually. Two rows of TIR optics light 3D blades that serve as the brake and turn signals. The outer lens here is red; Morimoto also offers the other lens color as a separate listing. The reverse light is a built-in white LED, and Morimoto sells an optional reverse light bar for more output when backing up.
The housings are ABS plastic with a UV-resistant polycarbonate lens and SSC LEDs. Morimoto says they meet DOT and SAE requirements, were tested by third-party labs, and carry a five-year warranty. Morimoto also notes the housings were designed and tested on US-spec vehicles, so fit on other markets is not guaranteed.
Fitment
Listed for the 2015-2019 GMC Sierra 3500HD Dually. Trucks equipped with OEM LED tail lights need the optional LF728HT adapters. They replace GM part numbers GM2800261 and GM2801261.
