The Morimoto XB LED headlights (LF520-A-ASM) replace the factory Ram headlight assemblies with dual Bi-LED projector units. The vendor describes a well-defined beam with good width, intensity and distribution, and lists the lights as DOT approved. The daytime running lights use Osram amber LEDs and the turn signal runs sequentially, which gives the front end a different look from stock.
Construction is a UV-coated polycarbonate lens (Momentive UVHC3000), a plastic housing and die-cast aluminum heat sinks to keep the LEDs cool. Functions are DRL in amber, turn, parking, low and high. These are left-hand-drive, US-spec housings.
Fitment
Listed fitment is the Ram 2500 HD and 3500 HD, 2009-2014. They replace Mopar part numbers 55277409AD, 55277409AE, 55277409AF, 55277410AD, 55277410AE, 55277410AF, 68001485AG, 68001484AG and 68096439AC. Morimoto designed and tested these on US-spec vehicles, and fitment elsewhere is not guaranteed. The vendor notes 2013-2014 trucks may require a reprogram for the OE projector to avoid error codes.
