The Retro-Quik kit is Morimoto's way to put better projectors in the factory headlights of a Ram truck. It is a direct bolt-on system for 2013 and newer Rams built around a pair of Mini D2S 5.0 Bi-Xenon projectors, which Morimoto says balance beam width and hotspot intensity for better nighttime visibility. The mounting hardware is engineered in the US, and the custom RQ brackets are made from automotive-grade G10 fiberglass.
The kit is modular. The projectors and brackets are the core, and you add the parts that suit your build: XB35 HID ballasts (Morimoto's XB 2.0 PR56 ballasts come in 35w and 55w), D2S bulbs of your choice, wiring, high beam splitters and housing sealant. Stepping up to 55w ballasts gives about 20 percent more lumens at roughly 1000K lower color temperature, per the vendor.
Fitment
Listed for Dodge Ram trucks 2013-2018 (the vendor fitment line lists 2013-2014 directly, with a 2015 harness choice for later models). On 2013-2014 models choose the CANBUS harness option; for 2015 and newer choose the 2015 MOPAR harness option.
What's included

Which Rams does this fit?
It is listed for 2013-2018 Dodge Ram trucks. Choose the CANBUS harness option for 2013-2014 and the 2015 MOPAR harness option for 2015 and newer.
Are the ballasts and bulbs included?
No, they are optional. The core kit includes two projectors, two custom RQ brackets and mounting hardware; you can add XB35 ballasts, D2S bulbs, wiring and accessories.
Can I run 55w ballasts?
The vendor lists 35-55w power and notes that 55w ballasts add about 20 percent more lumens with about 1000K lower color temperature (estimated).
Is this a plug-in bulb swap?
No. It is a projector retrofit that replaces the projectors using Retro-Quik brackets. Optional housing sealant is offered with the kit.
