Morimoto LectricLube Dielectric Grease
Dielectric grease is cheap insurance for every bulb socket, connector and ballast plug on the truck. LectricLube is a non-conductive silicone grease that acts as a moisture barrier over the contact, so water never gets the chance to start corroding the terminal underneath.
One 3oz tube is enough for a full HID upgrade, and it holds up from -50C to 200C — cold enough for winter, hot enough for underhood work.
| Spec | Detail |
|---|---|
| Volume | 3oz |
| Flash point | 200F / 93C |
| Temperature range | -50C to 200C |
| Electrical property | Non-conductive; acts as a moisture barrier |
| Corrosion | Non-corrosive — prevents moisture-related corrosion |
| Typical uses | Bulb sockets, connectors and ballast plugs; one tube covers a full HID upgrade |
| Fitment | Universal. Sold as a single 3oz tube. |
Will this work on my vehicle?
Yes. LectricLube is universal. It is a grease rather than a fitted part, so it works on bulb sockets, connectors and ballast plugs on any vehicle.
Is it safe to put on bulb contacts?
Yes. LectricLube is non-conductive, so it will not carry current between terminals. It works as a moisture barrier over the contact.
How much is in a tube, and is that enough?
Each tube holds 3oz, which is sufficient for a full HID upgrade.
What temperatures can it handle?
It is rated for a -50C to 200C operating range, with a flash point of 200F / 93C.
