Morimoto XB Evo LED Headlights — Ford F-150 (2018–2020)
XB Evo is the top housing in Morimoto's F-150 lineup, and this is the version built for the 2018–2020 truck. Each side runs two Bi-LED projectors on Nichia automotive LEDs plus a separate D-Optic high beam assist, and in standard form the whole assembly is DOT (FMVSS 108) compliant for street use.
The feature that matters most if you live somewhere with real winters is the lens heater. A logic-controlled 50W ceramic element with circulation fans warms the lens to keep frost from building up. Below 41°F (5°C), flash the high beams four times and it switches on.
Plug-in signal swap keys on the back of each housing let you choose white or amber DRLs and sequential or standard fade-off turn signals, so you can change the look without cutting wires. There's also a multi-stage welcome sequence on startup. It does nothing for visibility, but most owners leave it on.
Install is plug-and-play: the housings bolt to the factory mounting points and the kit includes halogen adapter harnesses, magnet-mount resistors, a fuse tap and a DRL harness. If you want more light for trail use, Morimoto's LF2-DRVSC13 Supercharged drivers swap onto the back of the housings for roughly 30–50% more output, but that makes them off-road only.

Will these fit my 2018–2020 F-150?
They are built for the 2018–2020 Ford F-150 and replace Ford part numbers KL3Z13008A/B/C/D, JL3Z13008AG/AH and HL3Z13008J/K/L/M. They are developed for North American trucks; Morimoto does not guarantee fit on trucks sold outside North America.
Are they street legal?
Yes, with the standard drivers they ship with. They are DOT FMVSS 108 compliant. Installing the optional Supercharged drivers raises output beyond the legal limit and makes them off-road only.
How does the lens heater work?
A logic-controlled 50W ceramic heater with circulation fans warms the lens to reduce frost. When it is below 41°F (5°C), flash the high beams four times to activate it.
What is the difference between XB Evo and XB Evo Hybrid?
The Hybrid uses the same Bi-LED projectors but drops the D-Optic high beam assist, lens heater, signal swap keys and welcome sequence. Its DRLs are white only and its turn signals are fade-off only.
Is there a warranty?
Morimoto backs the XB Evo with a five-year limited warranty. If something goes wrong, contact us first and we will work it out with Morimoto for you.
