Morimoto 2Banger LED Pods: NCS Wide Beam

$249.00

Morimoto 2Banger LED Pods — NCS Wide Beam

The 2Banger is Morimoto's compact auxiliary pod: small enough to tuck into a bumper opening or a ditch bracket, built to the same standard as their full-size lights. The NCS Wide version runs two Nichia LEDs behind a wide optic that pushes light out to the front and sides, and it meets SAE fog light standards.

Choose white or yellow output, run a single pod, or link several together into a custom light bar. Every figure below is per pod.

Why it works
Superior performanceThe 2Banger line runs Osram LEDs across two tiers of output and four beam patterns. This NCS pod uses 2x Nichia NCSY131F or NCSW131F chips.
NCS Wide beamIlluminates the area in front of and beside the vehicle, and meets SAE fog light standards for on-road use.
Unmatched versatilityMount pods individually or link them together to build a custom light bar. Integrated Deutsch DT 2-pin input on each pod.
All-weather durabilityYellow LEDs cut through rain, snow and fog. IP69K rated, with copper DTP PCBs and an electroplated aluminum shell.

Frequently asked questions
Are these street legal?

The NCS Wide beam pattern meets SAE fog light standards, so it can be run on-road as a fog light. Aim them correctly and check your local regulations.

How much light does one pod make?

Each pod produces 900 lumens raw. White output measures 8,000 Cd (80 lux at 10m) and yellow measures 4,250 Cd (42.5 lux at 10m). All published figures are per pod.

Can I run more than one?

Yes. 2Bangers mount individually or link together to build a custom light bar. Each pod has an integrated Deutsch DT 2-pin input and draws 1.0A at 13.5V DC.

Will they survive off-road use?

They are IP69K rated against dust and high-pressure water, and built with copper DTP PCBs, an electroplated aluminum shell, a powdercoated die-cast aluminum housing and a Makrolon polycarbonate lens.
