Morimoto 2Banger LED Pods — HXB Combo Beam
The Combo pattern splits the difference between spot and flood: enough hot spot to see down the trail, enough spread to light the edges of it. Two Osram HX Boost chips make 2,000 raw lumens per pod, measuring 65,000 Cd on white output.
It is the pattern most drivers end up wanting if they are only running one pair, and it meets SAE standards for on-road and off-road use. All figures below are per pod.

Are these street legal?
Morimoto states the HXB Combo meets SAE standards for both on-road and off-road use. Aim them correctly and check the rules in your state or province before running them on the highway.
Why choose combo over spot or flood?
Combo blends a hot spot with a wider spread, so you get distance and edge coverage from one pod. Spot is the choice for pure distance and flood for close-range, low-speed work.
How much light does one pod make?
2,000 lumens raw per pod. White output measures 65,000 Cd (650 lux at 10m) and yellow measures 42,500 Cd (425 lux at 10m). All published figures are per pod.
How do they mount and wire in?
Universal mounts and brackets fit a wide range of vehicles, and pods can be linked together. Each pod uses an integrated Deutsch DT 2-pin input and draws 1.78A at 13.5V DC.
