When you are building an axle from scratch or relocating shocks, a clean, square mount saves a lot of fussing. This M.O.R.E. universal stud shock mount welds to the axle tube and holds the shock at 90 degrees to the housing.
It is sized for 3-1/4" diameter axle tubes and comes with the shock mounting stud, so you are not hunting for one separately. It is sold individually, so order two for a typical axle.
Because this is a weld-on part, placement is on you. Cycle the suspension, confirm shock length at full stuff and full droop, and check tire and spring clearance before you burn it in. Tack it first, re-check, then finish the welds.
M.O.R.E. has been building Jeep parts in Delta, Colorado since 1978, when Chris Overacker started the company in his home garage. Parts are designed in 3D CAD, cut on Mazak lasers and welded by certified welders, all in-house in the USA.
