How to make a M.O.R.E. warranty claim
- Get a Return Goods Authorization (RGA) number first; M.O.R.E. won't accept a warranty return without one
- Have a copy of your original receipt showing where you bought it, the date and the price paid
- Ship the part back freight prepaid and insured, following the instructions from the dealer you bought it from

Ford's stock transfer case skid on the Bronco is not much of a skid. M.O.R.E.'s replacement covers the transfer case with 1/4" aluminum, so an off-camber rock costs you some finish instead of a transfer case repair.
The plate has reinforcing ribs to take hard impacts, and it installs with 6 bolts in factory hole locations. It comes with 3 slide washers and hardware. M.O.R.E. lists it at 17 lb.
It fits all 2021 and newer Ford Bronco 4 door models. Colors: Bare Aluminum, Pure Black, Flame Red, Tactical Gray or Desert Sand. One requirement: the Bronco must have the factory gas tank skid plate, because this plate attaches to it on the passenger side.
Aluminum is the lighter choice and will not rust; it costs more than steel. M.O.R.E. makes aluminum skid plates to order and says they may need up to 10 business days before shipping.
Install tip: support the plate on a jack while you start the bolts, torque to spec, and re-check them after the first trail run.

Do I need the factory gas tank skid?
Yes. The plate attaches to the factory gas tank skid plate on the passenger side, so your Bronco needs to have it.
Steel or aluminum?
