How to make a M.O.R.E. warranty claim
- Get a Return Goods Authorization (RGA) number first; M.O.R.E. won't accept a warranty return without one
- Have a copy of your original receipt showing where you bought it, the date and the price paid
- Ship the part back freight prepaid and insured, following the instructions from the dealer you bought it from

The factory fuel tank cover on a second-gen Sequoia is plastic, and plastic does not win arguments with sharp rocks. This M.O.R.E. skid plate replaces it with 3/16-inch steel, so you can drive lines you would otherwise skip to protect the tank.
It fits 2008-2022 Toyota Sequoia models with the 26-gallon tank only. Installation is four bolts using the factory hole locations. M.O.R.E. lists the steel plate at 40 lb.
One thing to check before you order: unless your Sequoia is a TRD Pro, it most likely needs the rear tank strap Toyota includes with the Tundra off-road package, which has two bolt studs pointing down from the bottom of the tank. Toyota part number 77602-0C150 is available through a Toyota dealer.
M.O.R.E. also offers this plate in aluminum if you'd rather save weight. Powder coat choices are Pure Black, Flame Red, Tactical Gray and Desert Sand.
M.O.R.E., based in Delta, Colorado, designs and manufactures its parts in-house in the USA. It carries the RockProof Lifetime Warranty against product failure for the original buyer for as long as they own the truck. Scrapes in the finish are expected on armor and aren't covered, and neither are altered parts or installs on the wrong vehicle.

Will this fit the larger fuel tank?
No. M.O.R.E. lists this plate for the 26-gallon tank only.
Do I need any extra parts?
If your Sequoia is not a TRD Pro, you most likely need Toyota's rear fuel tank strap, part number 77602-0C150, from a Toyota dealer.
How does it mount?
Four bolts at the factory hole locations, replacing the plastic cover.
What colors are available?
This plate is offered powder coated in Pure Black, Tactical Gray, Flame Red or Desert Sand. Expect the finish to scuff where the plate slides on rock; that is normal and is not a warranty item.
What does the warranty cover?
M.O.R.E.'s RockProof Lifetime Warranty covers product failure for the original retail purchaser for as long as they own the vehicle. The powder coat finish is a wear item and is not covered, and install labor, shipping, altered parts and wrong-vehicle installs are excluded.
