Disclaimer: The information on this page describes M.O.R.E.'s (Mountain Off-Road Enterprises) own warranty policy. It is not a warranty offered by NVMOS (No Visible Means of Support LLC). Manufacturers update their terms at any time; we review these pages periodically, but the manufacturer's current official policy is the one that applies to your claim. Move a CJ front axle forward and the steering box stays where it was, which usually means the drag link starts fighting the tie rod. This M.O.R.E. heavy duty bracket moves the steering gear forward 1-1/4 inch to fix that, while also keeping the box from being ripped off the frame like the standard heavy duty mount does.

It is made from 3/8 inch and 1/2 inch steel plate and fits the 1976-1986 Jeep CJ-5, CJ-7 and CJ-8. It works with a M.O.R.E. Shackle Reversal System or a stock spring setup.

Plan on some fabrication. You will have to notch the front frame crossmember for clearance, so have a cutoff wheel and some paint on hand. Choose zinc plating for corrosion protection or no plating if you will paint it. After install, re-center the steering and have the front end aligned. M.O.R.E. (Mountain Off-Road Enterprises) has been building Jeep parts in Delta, Colorado since 1978, when Chris Overacker started the company in his home garage. Parts are designed in 3D CAD, laser cut and welded in-house in the USA.

M.O.R.E. backs its parts with the RockProof Lifetime Warranty for the original retail purchaser, for as long as they own the vehicle, against product failure. Rubber, urethane and the finish are treated as wear items and are not covered, and neither is labor or shipping.
