How to make a M.O.R.E. warranty claim
- Get a Return Goods Authorization (RGA) number first; M.O.R.E. won't accept a warranty return without one
- Have a copy of your original receipt showing where you bought it, the date and the price paid
- Ship the part back freight prepaid and insured, following the instructions from the dealer you bought it from

The factory transfer case skid on a 3rd gen Tacoma is small and made of .050 in. sheet. M.O.R.E. covers the transfer case properly with 1/4 in. aluminum plate.

Bare aluminum can show light scratches from manufacturing; powder coat covers that.

Uses the factory hole locations plus two holes you drill yourself, so have a drill and a sharp bit ready.
Lead time
M.O.R.E. makes its aluminum skid plates to order. Bare aluminum can take up to 10 business days to ship; powder coating other than black can take up to 15 additional business days.
Who builds it
M.O.R.E. started in Chris Overacker's garage in 1978 and is still in Delta, Colorado. Every part is drawn in 3D CAD, cut on Mazak lasers and welded by certified welders in-house, so the whole thing is made in the USA.

Is any drilling required?
Yes, two holes. Everything else uses factory hole locations.
Will bare aluminum have marks?
Bare aluminum may show scratches from the manufacturing process. Pick a powder-coat color if that bothers you.
How long does it take?
Made to order: up to 10 business days bare, and powder coat other than black can add up to 15.
What does the warranty cover?
M.O.R.E.'s RockProof Lifetime Warranty covers product failure for the original retail buyer for as long as they own the vehicle. The powder coat or other finish and any rubber or urethane parts are treated as wear items and are not covered, nor are altered parts, improper installs, or fire and accident damage. M.O.R.E. repairs or replaces at its discretion; labor and shipping are not included.
