How to make a M.O.R.E. warranty claim
- Get a Return Goods Authorization (RGA) number first; M.O.R.E. won't accept a warranty return without one
- Have a copy of your original receipt showing where you bought it, the date and the price paid
- Ship the part back freight prepaid and insured, following the instructions from the dealer you bought it from

Lifted JKs sit high, and the back doors are the worst to climb into. This M.O.R.E. Hide-A-Step lowers the step-up by 11 in. at the rear door and is finished in silver .001 Class IV zinc plating that holds up to winter roads and road hazards.
Why it works
- Lowers the step-up at the rear door by 11 in.
- Two pins: pull them and the step comes off before rocky terrain, so it is not hanging where it can get caught
- Pin it back on when you are back on pavement
Fitment
Fits the rear door position on 2007–2018 Jeep Wrangler JK. It will not work with aftermarket or Sahara sliders, or with special edition Rubicons that have a bar welded to the rock sliders.
Install notes
On a four-door, expect to drill the mounting holes and add a few shims where needed. Sold individually.

Does install require drilling?
Yes. On a four-door rear door install, you drill the mounting holes and shim where needed.
Will it fit my sliders?
No for aftermarket or Sahara sliders, or special edition Rubicons with a bar welded to the rock sliders.
Can I remove it for wheeling?
Yes. Pull two pins and it comes off.
Is the zinc finish covered by warranty?
No. Finishes are wear items under M.O.R.E.'s RockProof Lifetime Warranty; product failure is covered.
