How to make a M.O.R.E. warranty claim
- Get a Return Goods Authorization (RGA) number first; M.O.R.E. won't accept a warranty return without one
- Have a copy of your original receipt showing where you bought it, the date and the price paid
- Ship the part back freight prepaid and insured, following the instructions from the dealer you bought it from

M.O.R.E.'s Hide-A-Step for the 2007-2018 Jeep Wrangler JK front doors drops your first step by 11 inches, which makes getting into a lifted JK a lot less of a climb. It's spring loaded, so it tucks itself back up once you're in the seat. This is the powder-coated version, sold individually.
It's made from 3/16-inch steel that is zinc plated and then powder coated, and the Class IV plating holds off corrosion and road grime. Install uses factory hardware with no drilling; M.O.R.E. suggests allowing 1–2 hours. Two grenade-style pull pins let you pull it off and stash it behind the seat when you want the clearance on the trail.
Choose Pure Black, Flame Red, Tactical Gray or Desert Sand. Black ships quickest; M.O.R.E. says the other colors can take about 5 business days to ship. Powder coat is a wear item and isn't covered by the warranty, so expect some scuffing where boots land.
Front doors only. The rear-door version is JKST07 R, sold separately.

M.O.R.E. says to allow 1-2 hours. It uses factory hardware and needs no drilling.
Do the colors ship at the same speed?
Black ships fastest. Other colors can take about 5 business days to ship.
Do I need one or two?
It's sold individually, so order two for both front doors.
Can I remove it for wheeling?
Yes, pull the two grenade-style pins and stow it behind the seat.
What does the warranty cover?
M.O.R.E.'s RockProof Lifetime Warranty covers product failure for the original retail buyer for as long as they own the vehicle. Finish, rubber and urethane are wear items and not covered, and neither are altered parts, wrong-vehicle installs, improper installation, fire or accident. M.O.R.E. repairs or replaces at its discretion; labor and shipping are not included.
