M.O.R.E. Hide-A-Step Powder Coated - Jeep CJ 1976-1986

Lift kits and big tires make the first step into a CJ a real reach. The M.O.R.E. Hide-A-Step drops that first step by 11 inches, then springs back up out of the way once you are in the seat. This version is powder coated, so you can match it to the rest of your armor in Pure Black, Flame Red, Tactical Gray or Desert Sand.

Built for 1976-1986 Jeep CJ models. The step comes off with two pull pins, so before a rock trail you yank the pins, stash the step behind the seat and get your ground clearance back. Slide it back in and re-pin when you hit pavement again. M.O.R.E. lists Class IV zinc plating as part of the corrosion protection against winter road grime.

Install is a home-garage job; M.O.R.E. figures one to two hours. It is sold individually, so order two if you want one on each side. One real limitation: it does not work with aftermarket sliders, so if your CJ already wears rock rails, this is not the step for you.

Like the rest of M.O.R.E.'s line, it is designed and built in Delta, Colorado. M.O.R.E. notes that colors other than black can need as long as 15 business days before shipping.
