M.O.R.E. Heavy Duty Drag Link Kit - Jeep CJ 1972-1981 Narrow Track

The stock drag link on a CJ is, in M.O.R.E.'s own blunt word, wimpy. This M.O.R.E. kit replaces it with 1 inch outside diameter, .219 inch wall DOM steel tubing built for heavy duty use.

This kit fits 1972-1981 Jeep CJs with the Dana 30 front axle, narrow track. The tubes are threaded for 5/8 inch left and right hand rod ends and have wrench flats on each end, so adjusting toe is simple. The rod ends are Teflon/Kevlar lined, self-lubricating, with heat treated, plated alloy steel bodies. Jam nuts and grade 8 hardware are included.

This is not a plug-and-play swap. You will have to drill the stock tapered knuckle holes out to a straight 5/8 inch, and once you do, going back to stock ends gets complicated. The links can mount over or under the knuckles. Choose bare steel with no paint, or yellow zinc plating for corrosion protection.

Have the front end aligned after install, and re-check the jam nuts after the first trail run. M.O.R.E.
