M.O.R.E. Bomb Proof Motor Mount Kit - Jeep CJ 1972-1986 AMC 4.2L / Pre-99 4.0L

Rock crawling puts loads on a CJ that the factory never planned for. Low gears, lockers and big tires multiply torque, and the stock motor mounts can tear apart surprisingly fast. This M.O.R.E. Bomb Proof kit swaps them for steel mounts with black polyurethane bushings that keep the AMC six held tight.

Fitment is specific, so read this part carefully:

• 1976-1986 Jeep CJ-5, CJ-6, CJ-7 and CJ-8 with the AMC 6-cylinder (4.2L or a pre-1999 4.0L): direct fit
• 1972-1975 Jeep CJ-5 and CJ-6: fits with slight frame modification
• 4.0L engines need 4.2L block plates to work with this kit

The mounts bolt into the stock frame and engine holes, and most installs need no modification. If you are swapping in a 4.0L, budget for the 4.2L block plates. Pick zinc plating for corrosion protection, or the no-plating version if you want to save a little and paint them yourself. M.O.R.E.
