M.O.R.E. 1 inch Body Lift with Poly Body Mounts - Jeep CJ5 / CJ7 1976-1979

M.O.R.E. came up with the one-inch Jeep body lift puck more than 20 years ago, and the reasoning still holds: bigger tires and more flexible suspension need room, and moving the body an inch off the frame often finds that room without making the Jeep look jacked up.

The pucks in this kit are made from 6061-T6 aluminum. They will not crush or crack, and once torqued they stay put. Left in natural aluminum, they look clean under the tub and there is no plastic spacer to split or look cheap. The kit pairs the pucks with polyurethane body mounts, so you are replacing tired rubber at the same time you lift.

It fits the 1976-1979 Jeep CJ5 and CJ7.

The honest trade-off with any body lift: an inch is enough to clear a slightly larger tire or a flexier suspension, but it also changes the relationship between body-mounted and frame-mounted parts. Check steering shaft, shifter and transfer case linkage, fan shroud clearance and brake and fuel lines after install. Old CJ body bolts tend to be seized, so soak them in penetrant ahead of time and have new hardware ready.
