PowerTray's J-hooks are also much larger then OEM J-hooks, with a 5/16" diameter shaft compared to the OEM's, which are an M6 thread. The hook itself features a cross hatch pattern which allows for a better grip on the vehicle's body. We also include locking serrated flange nuts to securely fasten the PowerTray Dual Circuit Breaker Battery Tie Down to your vehicle.

- Why do we include 2 different lengths of J-hooks?
- The Mounting locations Toyota uses in the engine bay to secure the battery to the body are in different locations from the front J-hook to the rear J-hook. The front J-hook mounting location is 2" lower then the rear mounting location. The 10" J-hook is used for the front mounting location and the 8" J-hook is used in the rear mounting location.

What is included?
One 10-inch and one 8-inch 5/16-inch stainless steel J-hook, plus locking serrated flange nuts.
Why two different lengths?
Toyota's front battery mounting location is 2 inches lower than the rear. The 10-inch hook goes in front and the 8-inch in the rear.
What are they made of, and how do they compare to OEM?
SAE 304 stainless steel with a cross-hatch pattern on the hook for better body grip. They have a 5/16-inch shaft versus the OEM's M6 thread.
What are they used with?
They secure the PowerTray Dual Circuit Breaker Battery Tie Down. Longer hooks are needed for taller than stock batteries, such as group 31.
