How to make a Inspired Overland warranty claim
- File within the 2-year term AND within 30 days of noticing the problem
- If bought from a dealer, contact that dealer first
- Provide proof of purchase showing your name, date, product and seller
- Send the serial number plus photos/video with the serial visible and a written description
- Within 75 miles of an authorized dealer, an in-person inspection may be required
- Over 75 miles away, you must complete a 'Destruction Verification' step before a replacement ships

The Carbonlite-X is the next step in Inspired Overland's Carbon Series and the lightest tent the brand describes here, at 93 pounds. The top, the base and the X-hinge system are all carbon fiber, so weight comes out of the places that usually carry the most of it.
The X-hinge is the interesting part. Inspired Overland says it opens up the interior for more headroom than a conventional hinge layout would give you, while the closed tent stays low at 6 inches. A low closed profile matters on the road because it keeps the tent compact and more aerodynamic on top of the vehicle.
