The 2.5" Stage 5 system for the 2014-2026 Ram 2500 4WD diesel is built from dual-rate front coil springs, the necessary bracketry and hardware, front and rear adjustable track bars, and 2.5 Aluminum Series reservoir shocks with CDEV at the front and rear. It aims to improve ride quality and performance on and off the road.
The reservoir shocks keep damping consistent for longer and run cooler under hard use. ICON Intelligent Control (IIC) reads the terrain and adjusts each CDEV shock almost instantly. You manage it wirelessly through the IIC app, and once configured it needs no driver input. The adjustable track bar uses FK bearings to firm up the flexible factory joints and lets you center the front axle under the truck.
The rear uses triple-rate coil springs. The light initial rate smooths out washboard and small whoops, the secondary rate keeps ride quality, and the aggressive third rate resists bottoming and supports payload at a reduced ride height. ICON developed them for 3/4-ton owners who like aggressive off-road driving and do not tow or haul heavy loads, which is a real trade-off to weigh.
