Why it works
Flows 40% more air than stock
S&B built this intake to cut restriction on the 5.0L Coyote. The fully enclosed airbox keeps engine-bay heat and dirt away from the filter, so the engine breathes cooler, cleaner air.
A deeper V8 sound
The big filter and wide tube bring out more of the Coyote's intake growl, inside and outside the cab. Hear it in S&B's sound clip.
Oversized silicone air scoop
A larger-than-factory scoop feeds cold air straight to the filter. The scoop, coupler, tube seal and filter are premium silicone, which won't crack and handles up to 400°F.
Snap-in lid, no screws
The lid snaps onto the box, so install and filter checks take seconds. A silicone edge trim seals out hot air and debris.
Big tube, big filter
A wide filter inlet feeds a high-flow tube with no choke points between the filter and the throttle body.
