The rear half of the C4 Fabrication GX470 armor system: transmission and transfer case skid plates for the 2003-2009 Lexus GX470. They guard the transmission, transfer case and exhaust, and they are built to work only alongside the C4 Front Skid Plate, which is sold separately. If you already run the C4 front skid, this finishes the job.
Why it works
- Drivetrain and exhaust coverage. The plates sit under the transmission, transfer case and exhaust, the parts that tend to find rocks first once the front is covered.
- Bolt-in crossmember. A dedicated crossmember reinforces the system under the transfer case.
- 3/16-inch P&O steel. CNC-cut from 3/16-inch pickled-and-oiled steel.
- Reasonable weight. The pair comes in at 74 lbs.
Install notes
This is a 100% bolt-on kit: no cutting, no welding, and all hardware is included. Choose the powder-coated option, or plan to coat the raw steel before it goes on the truck.
Fitment
