What's covered
- Defects in materials or workmanship under normal use
- National Luna repairs or replaces faulty parts at no charge for the part
- Coverage starts on the date of purchase
- Registration is no longer required for new fridges
What's not covered
- Light bulbs, fuses, cooling fans and other parts whose life depends on use and care
- Damage from wrong voltage or a power supply outside spec
- Negligent use, storing hazardous or corrosive materials, fire, flood or natural events
- Modifications that cause unsafe or improper operation
- Units with removed or defaced serial numbers
- Consequential losses such as spoiled food
- Labour by service agents and freight to/from the factory may be charged to the owner
How to make a National Luna warranty claim
- Keep your original proof of purchase showing the purchase date
- Contact the dealer you bought from, or the US distributor (Equipt Expedition Outfitters) for US purchases
- National Luna must authorize any repair in writing before work begins
- Repairs are done through authorized service agents; serial number must be intact
