The Overland Bed Rack Storage Box is an aluminum gear box that hangs on the side of Backwoods Adventure Mods' Full Height Tundra bed rack. It is Backwoods' answer to injection-molded plastic boxes that don't hold up well over time: 1/8-inch aluminum, stainless mounts and a gas-strut lid that opens on its own.
Why it works
The box is built from 1/8-inch aluminum with stainless steel mounts and stainless and black-oxide hardware. Lockable push-button latches keep it shut, a rubber gasket keeps dust and water out, and gas struts lift the lid. Inside, a fully adjustable shelf splits the space. The outside is a MOLLE panel predrilled for a Rotopax mount. Total weight is 38 lbs. Made in the USA, powder coat included, and backed by Backwoods' lifetime warranty.
Fitment
Made specifically for the Backwoods Full Height Tundra bed rack; you need that rack to mount it. You can run up to two boxes per side.
Install notes
Two gas struts are included. Run one if you are not hanging anything on the outside panel, or both if you mount a Rotopax or other heavy accessory there. Backwoods' install and features video and bed rack overview cover the setup.

Will it fit any bed rack?
No. It is made specifically for the Backwoods Full Height Tundra bed rack, and you need that rack to mount it.
How many can I run?
Up to two boxes per side on the Full Height rack.
Is it weather sealed?
It uses a rubber gasket to keep out dust and water, and the push-button latches lock.
Why two gas struts?
Use one when nothing is mounted on the outside panel, and both if you hang a Rotopax or other heavy accessory on the MOLLE panel.
