DV8 A-Arm Skid Plates for 2024-2026 Toyota Tacoma
These 5mm steel skids wrap the factory lower control arms on a 4th Gen Tacoma, so rocks, stumps and ledges hit the plate instead of the arm.
The leading face is doubled in thickness to take head-on contact, and DV8 ships them with carriage bolts instead of hex bolts so there are no sharp heads to catch on obstacles. They are sold as a pair and bolt on in about an hour. They need 17-inch or larger wheels to clear.
| Spec | Detail |
|---|---|
| Part number | SPTT1-05 |
| Fitment | 2024-2026 Toyota Tacoma, including Trailhunter |
| Wheel requirement | 17 in or larger wheels; factory wheels may need a 0.5 in spacer |
| Material | 5mm steel |
| Finish | Micro-texture black powder coat |
| Hardware | Carriage bolts included |
| Quantity | Sold as a pair |
| Install | Bolt-on; estimated 1 hour |
| Warranty | One-year limited warranty from DV8 against defects in workmanship and material |
Will these fit with 16-inch wheels?
No. DV8 requires 17-inch or larger wheels, and notes factory wheels may need a half-inch spacer for clearance.
Do they fit the Trailhunter?
Yes. DV8 lists the Trailhunter trim as compatible.
Is this one skid or two?
They are sold as a pair, one for each side.
Why carriage bolts?
Carriage bolt heads are rounded, so there is no hard hex edge to catch on rocks as the arm slides over them.
