What's covered
- Defects in materials and workmanship under normal consumer use
- Goal Zero repairs with new or refurbished parts or swaps in an equivalent unit
- Batteries are expected to keep reasonable capacity given normal aging — not full original capacity
- Goal Zero pays to ship the repaired or replacement unit back to you
What's not covered
- Accidents, abuse, misuse, or use with non-Goal Zero products
- Service by unauthorized technicians; disassembled/modified units or removed serial numbers
- Products bought from unauthorized resellers or auction sites
- Battery failure if the battery wasn't fully charged within 7 days of purchase and every 6 months after
- Second owners (not transferable)
How to make a Goal Zero warranty claim
- Submit a warranty request at https://help.goalzero.com/hc/en-us/requests/new?ticket_form_id=35308443897371
- Include proof of purchase (and proof of professional installation if that applies)
- If approved you'll get an RMA number
- Ship the product (original packaging preferred) with the RMA number, at your cost
- Goal Zero ships the repaired or replacement unit back free
