About eCOOLogical

eCOOLogical is a family-owned truck accessory company in Rocklin, California, led by president Darin Evans. Before this, Evans spent years developing lightweight thermoplastic auto parts at Dow Chemical and GE Plastics and founded NetShape, a Tier One supplier, so plastic body parts are home turf.

The headline product is BumperShellz: ABS overlays with an acrylic finish that cover chrome bumpers, grilles and trim, usually for a chrome-delete look. BumperShellz are made in-house in Rocklin, and the GapShield tailgate seal and AeroBox cargo box come from partner factories in the Midwest. Most products use recycled material.

What we carry from eCOOLogical

We carry front and rear BumperShellz, chrome delete overlays for grilles, mirrors, door handles and fog bezels, grille covers and inserts, tailgate appliques, rear cab spoilers and hitch guards. The AeroBox rear-mount cargo box and its accessories are here too.

Coverage includes the Toyota Tundra, Tacoma and 4Runner, Chevy Silverado and GMC Sierra 1500, Ford F-150 and Super Duty, and Ram.

How to choose

Fit details matter more than style here, and so does the weather on install day.

• Match the exact year, trim and bumper. Many overlays have separate versions for trucks with and without parking sensors.
• Painted-to-match is convenient. For an exact match to sun-aged factory paint, eCOOLogical suggests the paintable version and a local body shop.
• Taped parts need warmth. Install above about 65°F and skip car washes, highway speeds and extreme heat for 48 hours while the 3M adhesive cures.

In-stock items ship from NVMOS in 24–48 hours. Items that ship from eCOOLogical follow its estimates: in-stock BumperShellz in about 3–7 business days, painted-to-code BumperShellz in about 4–6 weeks because they are painted to order, and AeroBox in 3–9 business days. These are estimates that change, so check the product page or call.

eCOOLogical warranty

Lighted products carry a one-year limited warranty covering LED and internal wiring failure. Other products have a defect guarantee with no stated length, and defects or returns should be reported within 30 days of receipt. Improper installation, impact damage and labor are not covered.
