This Yankum kinetic recovery rope is sized for three-quarter-ton to one-ton pickups and large SUVs. A kinetic rope stretches and stores energy as it loads, then returns it, so a stuck vehicle gets pulled out with momentum rather than a hard jerk. That is the advantage the vendor claims over flat webbing straps. It is double braid nylon, mil-spec quality, with a Code Red polymeric coating against UV, water and abrasion and rubber-dipped eyes for extra life where wear happens.
It is 1 inch by 20 feet with a minimum tensile strength of 33,500 lbs, intended for vehicles weighing 6,700 to 11,200 lbs. It is a recovery rope, not a tow rope; do not use it to tow.
