Gen2 Air Delivery System for the Jeep Wrangler JL and JLU
Airing four tires down at the trailhead and back up at the pavement one valve at a time eats a surprising amount of daylight. This Gen2 Air Delivery System from Overland Vehicle Systems mounts in the passenger side of a JL or JLU engine bay and lets you deflate, inflate or equalize all four tires together from one control box.
The control box carries a 90 PSI air regulator and a 150 PSI blow-off valve, so the system limits pressure on its own instead of relying on you to watch a gauge. It has two inlets: one for a permanently mounted onboard compressor and a Schrader valve for a portable unit, and it works with the OVS EGOI 2, ARB and Viair compressors. Air lines come pre-cut in DOT-approved 3/8 inch hose with push-to-connect fittings, and the four green tire whips use OVS's Betty Bar quick connect setup. Fits 2018 and newer Jeep Wrangler JL 2 door and JLU 4 door in the engine mount configuration, passenger side of the engine bay. It is not compatible with diesel JL models. OVS also offers mounting kits for under-seat and rear cargo installs if the engine bay is already spoken for.
The kit includes the ADS control box with regulator and blow-off valve, pre-cut 3/8 inch DOT-approved air lines, 8 quick connect chucks with Betty Bar, 4 green tire whips with a storage bag, a Schrader valve for portable compressor use, a push-to-connect fitting kit and a full installation guide. Does it fit a diesel JL?
No. OVS states this engine bay kit is not compatible with diesel JL models.
Is a compressor included?
No. The system connects to an onboard compressor or a portable one through the Schrader inlet. It works with the OVS EGOI 2, ARB and Viair compressors.
Can I use it with a portable compressor?
Yes. One of the two inlets is a Schrader valve for a portable unit, and the other is for a permanently mounted compressor.
What keeps it from overfilling the tires?
