The Dogbone is an all-aluminum mounting panel from Backwoods Adventure Mods that puts traction boards, Rotopax cans or other gear on almost any roof rack, bed rack or flat surface. It is a simple part that solves the "where do the boards go" problem without drilling your rack.
Why it works
Cutouts in the panel accept Maxtrax mounting pins and similar traction board mounts, and Backwoods lists it for Maxtrax and Action Trax boards. Rotopax-matching cutouts give you a no-drill way to carry extra fuel or water. It bolts to the extrusions on any brand of roof rack, or to any flat surface. Made in the USA from aluminum, with powder coat included and Backwoods' lifetime warranty behind it.
Fitment
Universal. It does not care what vehicle it is on, only that there is a rack extrusion or flat surface to bolt to. It works on bed racks and roof racks alike.
