The DRIFTR Topper bolts a full DRIFTR roof rack onto the top of the Backwoods Toyota Tacoma bed rack. The bed rack alone sits flush with the cab; the topper adds about 4" so a longer, wedge-style rooftop tent can clear it. Pair it with a Backwoods DRIFTR roof rack on the cab and you get one level deck from front to back.
Why it works
- 0.25" thick aluminum side rails with handle cutouts that also accept Agency 6 grab handles.
- Six triple-slotted extrusions included for mounting a rooftop tent or other gear.
- Rated 300 lb dynamic and 700 lb static.
- 41 lb; 46.5" W x 57" L with 1" x 3" x 46" crossbars.
- Powder coat included.
Fitment
- Requires the Backwoods Toyota Tacoma Overland Bed Rack.
- Backwoods lists the topper for short bed 2nd, 3rd and 4th gen Tacomas, but its spec table also shows "2024-2026 Double Cab." If you run an older or Access Cab truck, call us and we'll confirm with Backwoods before it ships.
