The STILLEN TruPedal is a throttle response controller for drive-by-wire vehicles. Electronic throttles are usually calibrated on the cautious side, which is why a pedal press can feel like the truck is deliberating before the engine answers. TruPedal sits in the signal path between pedal and engine and reshapes how that input is passed along, so the response arrives sooner. It is aimed at pedal response rather than engine output, so think of it as a feel upgrade, not a power adder.
On top of stock behavior you get four preset driving modes, Race, Sport, City and Eco, and each one has seven fine-tuning options, for 28 combinations in total. Race is the sharpest, Sport is the lively everyday setting, City smooths out stop-and-go traffic, and Eco favors fuel savings. There is also a Valet mode that cuts throttle performance hard for slow, controlled acceleration when someone else is behind the wheel. Settings are changed from your smartphone using the supplied app.
A built-in immobilizer uses Bluetooth authorization, so the throttle can be held off until your phone is present. That makes the unit double as a modest anti-theft layer, though it is no substitute for locking the vehicle.
