S&B's short gusset traction bars take a smaller, sleeker approach than the long gusset version, with a low-profile look that stays out of sight under the truck. Like the rest of the line, the patented adaptable design lets them fit on any truck, with an installed bar length as short as 50 inches or as long as 84 inches.
Why it works
The adjustable length means one bar design covers a wide range of trucks rather than needing a model-specific part. The short gusset keeps the hardware tucked up and less visible, which suits builds where you want the function without the bars being the first thing people notice.
Fitment
The bars are adaptable to any truck, but they are sold as a kit builder item. You choose a frame mount and an axle mount for your application. The product page includes call-outs on the options.

Why it works
Traction bars that don't limit travel
S&B has refined this design over two decades. The bars fit almost every leaf-sprung truck and don't limit travel or articulation, and S&B's own frame and axle mounts give strong traction control.
Two frame mount options
The 101020 mounts beside the frame for trucks with leaf springs outside the frame, such as 09-16 Super Duty and 03+ Ram HD. The 101022 mounts beneath the frame for trucks with springs under the frame, such as 17+ Super Duty, 01+ GM HD and trucks with AMP steps. See the Fitment Guide with any questions.
Three axle mount options
The 101044 (U-bolts down) replaces the OEM under-axle plate on 3.5" and 4" axles with 2.5" or 3" wide springs. The 101045 (U-bolts down) replaces the plate on 4.25" and 4.5" axles with 3" wide springs; both can reuse U-bolts in good shape. The 101032 (U-bolts up) welds onto 3.5" and 4" axles between the U-bolts. See the Fitment Guide with any questions.
