The pitman arm nut on a Ford calls for around 400 foot-pounds, and plenty of garages do not have a 46mm socket that can take that kind of load. This wrench from S&B amplifies your torque wrench so you can reach the spec without one.
Fitment
It is made for the Ford OE pitman arm nut. It is not for the S&B/OUO pitman arm nut, item 101343. That nut needs the 2-inch wrench, item 101341.
Install notes
Because the wrench amplifies your torque wrench, the reading needs correcting. S&B points buyers to a torque wrench calculator app to work out the corrected setting. The track rod and track rod bracket must be removed to use this wrench on a Ford pitman arm nut. It ships raw and is intended for one-time use.
