The S&B Particle Separator is a pre-filter for your Super Duty's air intake. Its design is based on technology used on military aircraft, and S&B says it removes over 96% of the dust before that dust ever reaches your air filter.
Why it works
The logic is straightforward: a filter that sees less dust stays cleaner, lasts longer and keeps protecting the engine behind it. Pulling the bulk of the dirt out upstream means the filter only has to handle what is left.
Who it is for
It matters most if your truck spends its days on gravel roads, farm lanes or dusty job sites, where a filter can load up faster than you expect. If your Super Duty rarely leaves pavement, the benefit is smaller, and that is worth being honest about before you buy.
