The factory grid heater and intake elbow on the 6.7L Cummins have a reputation for failing, and when they do the damage can reach the engine. The S&B Intake Elbow replaces both with a larger elbow and a billet grid heater delete plate, and S&B calls it the best-flowing intake elbow on the market while protecting the truck.
The kit is complete. It includes the elbow, the billet delete plate, a single coil style intake air heater, new OEM gaskets, a new cylinder #1 fuel line to clear the larger elbow, and all hardware and components needed.
Fitment
2007.5-2018 Ram 2500 and 3500 with the 6.7L Cummins diesel. It does not fit Ram chassis cab models; S&B lists separate elbows for those.

Larger than stock for more airflow
The elbow is much larger than stock, cutting restriction and moving more air into the engine. That means quicker throttle response, lower turbine backpressure and lower EGTs, whether daily driving or towing.
Deletes the failure-prone grid heater
The factory grid heater uses two nuts that often loosen and can enter the combustion chamber, destroying the engine. The billet S&B delete plate, paired with the S&B Intake Air Heater, replaces it with a more reliable coil-style heater and cuts airflow restriction.

What trucks does it fit?
2007.5-2018 Ram 2500 and 3500 with the 6.7L Cummins diesel. It does not fit Ram chassis cab models.
Is everything needed included?
S&B lists the elbow, billet delete plate, intake air heater, OEM gaskets, a new cylinder #1 fuel line and all hardware and components needed.
Why does it include a new fuel line?
The new cylinder #1 fuel line is included to accommodate the larger elbow.
I have a chassis cab truck. Will this work?
No. S&B makes separate elbows for 3500, 4500 and 5500 chassis cab trucks. Contact us and we will point you to the right one.
