This S&B replacement tank holds about 65 gallons for LLY, LBZ and LMM Duramax 6.6L trucks. The bottom of the tank has more surface area than the factory one, so you get a larger fuel reserve when the low-fuel indicator comes on.
Two things to know before you buy. The distance-to-empty readout on GM trucks cannot be reprogrammed, so it will show about half the mileage you actually have left, which happens with every aftermarket high-capacity tank. And the nozzle at high-flow fuel stations will not auto-fill it.

Why does my distance-to-empty read low?
GM distance-to-empty cannot be reprogrammed, so it will show about half the real mileage left. This happens with all aftermarket high-capacity tanks.
Will it fill automatically at truck stops?
No. The nozzle at high-flow stations will not be able to auto-fill it.
Which engines does it fit?
The Duramax 6.6L LLY, LBZ and LMM, 2004-2010.
