This S&B replacement tank holds roughly 60 gallons and is a straightforward way to add range to a 2008-2010 Ford 6.4L Powerstroke Crew Cab Short Bed without carrying fuel in the bed.
Why it works
Its float reads empty at the same point as the factory tank, but because the bottom of the S&B tank has more surface area, you end up with a bigger reserve when the gauge says empty.

Install notes
S&B sump fittings or drain plug fittings are required if you use the sump feed/return port, or if you drill out the bottom port for use as a drain. Those fittings are sold separately as related products. S&B notes that running an auxiliary fuel tank alongside its tanks voids the Lifetime Warranty.

Will the gauge read like the factory tank?
S&B states the float empty position is the same as the OEM tank, with a larger reserve because of the wider bottom surface.
Do I need sump fittings?
Only if you use the sump feed/return port or drill the bottom port out as a drain. They are sold separately.
Can I run an auxiliary tank with it?
S&B says using an auxiliary fuel tank with its tanks voids the Lifetime Warranty.
