Factory JK steering is thin for anyone running bigger tires or hitting trails, and a bent tie rod is a long walk home. This package bundles a heavy-duty tie rod and drag link with a matched steering stabilizer so the whole system is upgraded in one purchase.
The steering is the RPM Massive 2.5 Ton HD 2" aluminum steering kit: a solid 2" link made in the USA from 7075 T6 cold finish aluminum with hexed ends for easy adjustment, plus 1.25" forged tie rod ends, built-in anti-flop ends (excluding the pitman arm joint) and serrated Belleville washers. The tie rod and drag link both come in the kit, and no drilling is needed for the stock location.
It is paired with a FOX 2.0 ATS steering stabilizer, which uses an Adjustable Through Shaft design that eliminates shaft fluid displacement through the stabilizer's full travel in both directions. The listing also notes that the Clayton Off Road Steering Stabilizer Relocation Bracket lets you raise the stabilizer above the tie rod, so it is less likely to catch on rocks or other obstacles.
