This RCI transmission skid protects the transmission and exhaust on the 2.3L Bronco, for vehicles without crossmembers. It ties in with RCI front and transfer-case skids or works alone, and it is compatible with the OEM front and transfer-case skid plates.
Choose 3/16" steel for heavy duty protection (35 lbs, black powdercoat) or 1/4" aluminum (18 lbs), which RCI describes as approximately 2/3 the strength of steel at exactly 50% of the weight, and which needs no paint to resist rust. The surface is smooth and flat so it slides over obstacles.
Fitment
2021 and newer Ford Bronco 2.3L, for vehicles without crossmembers only. It is not compatible with Raptor models. Trucks with an electronic sway bar disconnect and sway bar relocation brackets from an aftermarket lift may need to add spacers.

Does it fit the 2.7L Bronco?
No. This one is for the 2.3L without crossmembers. The 2.7L uses the plate with x-members.
Does it fit the Raptor?
No, it is not compatible with Raptor models.
What about aftermarket lift brackets?
Trucks with an electronic sway bar disconnect and relocation brackets from an aftermarket lift may need spacers.
Do I need to drill?
No, it attaches to factory attachment points.
