RCI Metalworks Warranty
At a glance: Lifetime structural warranty for the original purchaser; 180 days on powder coat

Disclaimer: The information on this page describes RCI Metalworks' own warranty policy. It is not a warranty offered by NVMOS (No Visible Means of Support LLC). Manufacturers update their terms at any time; we review these pages periodically, but the manufacturer's current official policy is the one that applies to your claim. This RCI transmission skid protects the transmission and exhaust on the 2024 and newer Ranger and the 2021 and newer Bronco with the 2.7L, for models with frame crossmembers. It ties in with RCI engine and transfer-case skids or works alone, and it is compatible with the OEM front and transfer-case skid plates.
Choose 3/16" steel, which is the heavy duty option at 35 lbs with a black powdercoat, or 1/4" aluminum at 18 lbs. RCI says the aluminum is roughly 2/3 the strength of the steel at exactly half the weight, and it resists corrosion with no paint. The surface is smooth and flat so it slides over obstacles.
Fitment
2024+ Ford Ranger and 2021+ Ford Bronco 2.7L. It is for models with frame crossmembers only. Models without crossmembers (like the 2.3L Bronco) need a different plate.
What's included
The skid plate and a hardware kit.
Install notes
Easy installation with basic tools. It attaches to factory attachment points with no drilling.
Lead time
This item is made to order, so it ships on a lead time rather than from stock. Ask us for the current wait before you order.

Fitment questions are easier to settle before the box ships. Call or text Carl & Anton at (920) 249-7744 or use the chat — real humans in Sheboygan, Wisconsin, not a call center.
