This transmission skid plate from RCI Metalworks is CNC laser cut and formed to fit the 2015-2022 Colorado. It covers the transmission along with the second and third cross-members, and it ties in with RCI front and transfer-case skid plates or stands on its own.
Reinforced edges between the cross-members add rigidity, extra cutouts let heat escape around the transmission, and the face is smooth and flat so it slides over obstacles. You choose between 3/16" steel and 1/4" aluminum.
Fitment
Fits 2015-2022 Chevrolet Colorado. RCI has not verified fitment on diesel models, so check with us before ordering for a diesel. The catalytic guards shown in some photos are not included.
Finish options
1/4" aluminum comes bare or with a satin black powdercoat. The 3/16" steel version comes with a satin black powdercoat for rust resistance.
Install notes
It bolts directly to factory attachment points with no drilling, using the hardware supplied, and RCI includes installation instructions. Made in the USA.
