What's covered
- Defects in material and craftsmanship on the part's structure, for as long as the original purchaser owns it
- Powder coat that peels, bubbles or shows light areas within 180 days, as determined by RCI

What's not covered
- Improper installation, alteration, abuse, neglect or accidents
- Corrosion and normal wear
- Off-road damage (with some exceptions RCI decides case by case)
- Freight, labor, installation or downtime costs
- Hook marks from hanging parts for coating, unless the finish fails
How to make an RCI warranty claim
- Write a description of the damage and take clear photos
- Include a copy of the original invoice
- RCI inspects the part and decides whether to repair or replace it

This RCI Metalworks skid plate protects the transfer case on 2019-present Ram 1500 4x4 trucks. The surface is smooth and flat so it slides over obstacles, and the steel version carries a black powdercoat for rust resistance.
It comes with a black powder coated steel crossmember that weighs 11 lbs, and all installation hardware is included.
Fitment
Compatible with 4x4 trucks on the 2019-present chassis, excluding "classic" models. EcoDiesel trucks need the transmission skid plate installed in order to fit this one.
Options
10 gauge steel in satin black powdercoat, or 1/4" aluminum in bare metal or satin black powdercoat. Aluminum weighs 11 lbs and steel weighs 19 lbs.
Install notes
Installation uses basic tools and attaches to factory attachment points with no drilling. Made in the USA.

No. Classic models are excluded.
Do EcoDiesel trucks need anything else?
Yes. EcoDiesel models need the transmission skid plate installed to fit the transfer case skid plate.
Is the crossmember included?
Yes, a black powder coated steel crossmember comes with it.
Does it need drilling?
No.
