What's covered
- Defects in material and craftsmanship on the part's structure, for as long as the original purchaser owns it
- Powder coat that peels, bubbles or shows light areas within 180 days, as determined by RCI
- RCI repairs or replaces the part at its discretion after inspecting it
What's not covered
- Improper installation, alteration, abuse, neglect or accidents
- Corrosion and normal wear
- Off-road damage (with some exceptions RCI decides case by case)
- Freight, labor, installation or downtime costs
- Hook marks from hanging parts for coating, unless the finish fails
How to make an RCI warranty claim
- Write a description of the damage and take clear photos
- Include a copy of the original invoice
- RCI inspects the part and decides whether to repair or replace it

If you do not want the factory spare tire carrier hanging off the back of your JLU, this RCI kit replaces it with a clean, finished tailgate look. The license plate light, OEM third brake light and reverse camera all get relocated, and a plug-and-play wiring harness is included so there is no splicing. You can add a Rotopax mount if you want somewhere to put fuel or water. Heavy duty black powdercoat finish. Made in the USA. This item is made to order and ships on a lead time; RCI posts current lead times on its site.
Fitment
Fit is confirmed on the 2018 and newer Jeep Wrangler JLU Rubicon. RCI suspects it also fits other JL models and the JT but has not confirmed it, so ask us before ordering for another model. Choose with or without the Rotopax mount.
What's included
The spare tire delete hardware, relocation brackets and plug-and-play harness, with all mounting hardware. It reuses OEM hardware as needed.

Fit is confirmed on the 2018+ JLU Rubicon. Other JL models and the JT are suspected, not confirmed.
Do I need to splice wiring?
No. A plug-and-play harness is included.
